About Vincent

Beginnings:

I started my piano technology career in 1972, when I enrolled in the Empire School of Piano Tuning at the suggestion of a close friend, and graduated from there in January of 1973. That same year, I informally apprenticed with Kenneth Webster, then-President of the New Jersey Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild and immediately began working at AJ Music, a Baldwin dealer in Howell, NJ. I moved to Provo, Utah in August 1974 to finish up my music degree. I did a short apprenticeship with Lynn Hansen, head piano technician at BYU that year. In 1978 I began a full time career in piano tuning and repair, working mainly for the Baldwin dealership, Wakefield’s, in Provo Utah.
